Horizon Christian Fellowship has been formed
as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our
supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by
the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are not a denominational church,
nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their
over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to division
in the Body of Christ.
• We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God as the only
mediator between sinful man and a holy God.
• We believe a person is saved by faith in Jesus Christ, His
death, burial and resurrection.
• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, and only infallible,
authoritative Word of God. Therefore, Bible teaching is of extreme
importance.
• We believe that the true basis of Christian fellowship is His
Love, which is greater than any differences we possess.
• We believe worship of God should be a spiritual experience and
be both intelligent and fruitful. Therefore, we remain flexible and
yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that our faith should lead us to Win people to
Jesus, Disciple people in Jesus, and Send people for Jesus in
obedience to His last command.
THE BIBLE
The Bible is inerrant, infallible, sufficient and authoritative, we communicate only the principles, practices, and precepts regarding the Christ-centered
family and church.
THE FAMILY
The family was designed to work together with the church to raise
godly children, we teach and explain the complementary roles of
family within the context of the local church body.
THE CHURCH
We foster the biblical pattern of age- and family-integration, promote
the role of the church body in God’s divine plan for families, and
provide educational resources to “edify the saints”. We present the
“whole counsel of God” through expository and exegetical preaching
and teaching.
THE WORSHIP
Worship encompasses more than just music. Therefore, we worship corporately
using Scripture reading, music, preaching, communion, offerings, and
fellowship.
THE HOME
We promote the biblical call for parents to teach the Bible to their children
every day.
